Retail Store Manager - Full Time
Job Summary
Acts as primary point of contact for retail or wholesales customers and ensures sales by determining customer need, accessing POS system to assist in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customer receives a good experience.
Position Responsibilities
- Plan and implement strategies to attract customers.
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly and quarterly and annual objectives.
- Monitor and maintain store inventory.
- Evaluate employee performance
- Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable.
- Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines.
- Maintains POS computer abilities by learning and applying how to use catalog and system, practicing asset security/loss prevention controls, and understanding store’s pricing methods.
- Provides sales support functions by processing salespersons’ stock orders, reporting overages/shortages/damaged merchandise, and ensuring good appearance of store and displays.
