We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales activities at our Appliance Avenue store. The successful candidate will be working in our America’s Mattress Gallery, Appliance Avenue, and Cellcom divisions. The successful candidate will also be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals, and meet clients’ expectations. We provide an hourly rate of pay based on a number of factors, along with the opportunity to earn substantial additional income through incentive programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

Requirements

  Lawn Care Technician

Responsibilities

• Prep trucks and equipment (not limited to checking the fluid levels and oil levels of the vehicles before heading out for the day)
• Ensure that the Pro Lawn Rider and all other equipment needed to do your job are in working order
• Follow inventory procedures and report to your direct manager daily
• Complete the proper paperwork for each customer
• Follow the price sheet when invoicing customers
• Provide estimates and explain them to the customers, if needed

Agronomy Applicator/Driver

At Door County Cooperative, you will be part of a team supporting our local farm community. You will be working directly with producers on the farm and in the field alongside our team at Door County Cooperative that has a passion for agriculture, while adding value to the process and improving our customers’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Spraying crops, spreading fertilizer, delivering seed and fertilizer to and from specified destinations
• Maintains compliance with Company DOT requirements and the Driver's Manual

• Ability to communicate with the supervisor about all maintenance and repairs of equipment and supplies

• Prepares and maintains records following regulations and company procedures
• Meets all applicable DOT and WI Dept. of Agriculture and WDNR rules and regulations, and can obtain a Pesticide Applicator Training license (PAT)
• Provides exceptional customer support to meet customer demand by working evening hours and weekends, as needed
• General shop maintenance

Requirements

• Education and background in the Agricultural Field preferred
• Attention to detail, self-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervision, with a passion for the business of agriculture

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers

Propane Delivery/Service

The Door County Cooperative's Propane division is seeking a propane service technician. This position requires an individual to safely drive and operate a trencher, a crane truck, and a bobtail to customer locations. This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service, and Employee Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers
• Responsible for providing emergency response, system installation, and testing
• During daily interaction with customers, provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquiries
• Can assist in driving a bobtail when demand warrants it
• Performs other duties as assigned
• May work on propane appliances when needed
• Ability to work outside in varying weather/driving conditions
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform all daily functions in a safe manner
• Complete field repairs of tank valves and seals; finds and repairs leaks at customer sites

Requirements 

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), HazMat endorsement, and Tanker endorsement are encouraged.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test, and Homeland Security Background Check.

Small Engine Repair Technician

The small engine repair technician will diagnose and repair the customer’s equipment problems. Provide routine maintenance, such as replacing spark plugs, belts, fans, filters, and lubricating parts, to name a few. The technician may also repair or replace worn, broken, or defective parts and recommend when a part should be replaced. After the repairs are made, they reassemble and reinstall all components. The technician will use a variety of hand, electric, and battery-operated tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive representation of the Door County Cooperative and its values
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems with their equipment and defining the needs of the specific equipment
• Ensure all equipment in possession for repair or maintenance is accounted for and has a current work order or plan for pick up/delivery
• Responsible for the completion of the required paperwork accurately and promptly
• Follow all OSHA and state-mandated rules for equipment and safety of self and other employees
• Report any needs for supplies and inventory to the respective manager
• Complete daily paperwork to keep the department running smoothly
• Pickup and delivery of equipment needing repairs from our customers
• Unloading trucks with the delivery of product for Rio Creek True Value
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in the shop and warehouse areas

Additional Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or the division manager
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the business as needed: answering the phone, assisting customers at the sales counters, parts look up, assembling new equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance (and repairs as needed) on equipment from the Warehouse and Rental division

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders in excess of 50 feet, and maintain a safe work area
• Meet obligations in regarding to completion of necessary OSHA required training
• Obtain Forklift Operators License and ability to operate a powered industrial truck/forklift
