Lawn Care Specialists make the community greener!
Job Type: Full Time Seasonal
Job Location: Sturgeon Bay, WI
Work Hours: 7:30 to 4:00 Monday through Friday. Even in the Spring busy season!
Experience Required: None! Paid Training
What is a Lawn Care Specialist and what do they do?
Lawn Care Specialists make the community greener. They use specialized knowledge, skills and equipment to make client’s lawns healthier and eliminate invasive weeds. This is accomplished with an exact application of liquid or granular fertilizer as well as water-based weed control products using specialized machines. Conditions and times at each lawn will always vary. Expect something different every day.
WHAT ABOUT YOU WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED AT PROLAWN?
You’re self-motivated: Once trained, you’ll work independently and we’ll trust you to be respectful of ProLawn and client property as well as efficient in starting and accomplishing your production goals. No one will be looking over your shoulder.
You like being outdoors: You like the ideas of an ever-changing, open and outdoor office. A cubicle seems like prison when you can be out in the fresh air. You must be able to walk across uneven terrain and also lift 50 lbs. Our products don’t work when it’s raining, too cold, too hot or too windy – we are only outside in ideal weather! We do start our season early and end late in the season so it can be chilly working conditions then.
You’re reliable: You show up when you say you will, work as long as you say you will, do what you say you will do, and you hold the rest of us at ProLawn to the same standards.
You’re detail oriented: sloppy lawn care applications make poor results and unhappy clients. Take pride in what you do and the results you achieve
You drive safely: Safe driving is a big part of the job. A valid driver’s license, a clean driving history, and attentive and safe driving habits are mandatory. No DWIs within 5 years and less than 3 moving violations within 3 years.
